Okay...making good time...

Oh, right, I wanted to ask if anyone has any good training suggestions? We uh, got beat up really hard at the Violet City gym....I can't believe that Pokemon could get so strong....there's no way I don't want to be prepared for that!

Anyway, I'm actually heading to Cherrygrove City again...I'm gonna meet someone there. I, uh, should I like, buy more camping stuff? Definitely more food...but um...[Blushes a little.]

So, any advice would be great, thanks.

You should get a repel. It can keep pokèmon away at night. I'm on my way to Azalea town. I've been training my pokèmon by letting them battle every pokèmon we meet on the way, and I am letting my weaker pokèmon grow stronger by letting them watch the battles until they are ready to take them on.

I'm still new here, so I don't know if there's a better way to train, but it seems sensible to me.

If our paths cross, maybe we can meet up. I've been feeling a bit lonely travelling without a friend.
